About
This program includes exercises you can do with little or no equipment so you can do them at home. We’re going to be doing a lot of single leg work in these programs which is really important for runners. Running is a single leg sport and strength work that focuses on one leg at a time also helps develop your balance and co-ordination. Regular strength work is also the best way to avoid injuries and improve your speed/endurance overall so it’s super important to be consistent with it, even if it’s just once a week. Remember to warm up similar to if you were going out for a run, you can do hip openers/hip swings, lunges, lateral leg swings even some high knees. Stretching is also important after doing these exercises so do your usual stretches after the workout too.
